Helping Indianapolis Colts boost brand consistency

Indianapolis Colts, also known as the Colts, is an American Football team that competes in the National Football League (NFL).

Currently based in Indianapolis, Indiana, the Colts were originally founded in Baltimore. Since moving to Indianapolis, the Colts have won three championships and one Super Bowl game.

The importance of uniform signatures for the Colts

Branding for any NFL team is a huge part of its identity; the Colts are a team that takes pride in their blue and white colors, as well as their lucky horseshoe logo. The Colts’ brand is internationally recognized, which is why it’s so important for their branding to be consistent across the board.

The challenge: Bringing brand uniformity to signatures

Although the Colts did use branded email signatures, they had to be updated manually. End users had to update their own signatures with the latest logo or campaign banner. Some would add the new logo and latest campaign banner, but others wouldn’t.

Transforming email signature management

When it came to picking email signature software, the decision was an easy one for the Colts. They had already heard of other NFL teams using our products and had had internal recommendations, too.

Expert assistance. Perfect signature designs

Our support team provided expert assistance for the Colts with remote sessions. We helped them with creating rules in Office 365, and our design team rebuilt their signature designs.

We were happy to provide support as they tested our solution, applying the signatures to some of their team to begin with. Following a successful test, the Colts rolled out consistently branded signatures to everyone.

Testimonial from Ryan Fannin, Director of Football Information Systems at Indianapolis Colts

“With Exclaimer, we can now force email signature uniformity, and run banner campaigns for different departments. For instance, we can give our Mascot group their own unique campaign banner, while the Ticket Sales group can have another. Exclaimer has bent over backwards for us – the support is fantastic. I highly recommend their solution.”
